LitFest In The News ...

> November 2008 Daily News

Once again, LitFest will focus on one genre taken from the California State Language arts Standards. As such, special '09 genre awards will be given in humor. Illustrators are "encouraged" to attempt cartooning - it is a marvelous challenge for your budding illustrators and certainly demands great literacy skills. All illustrations will be judged but a separate award given in cartooning (see Jon Agee's student and adult success).
